March 16, 2020 update

The health and safety of our attendees, speakers and sponsors is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, we are continuing to monitor the developments of the COVID-19 virus and the impact it may have on all who are attending.

According to the guidelines set by the CDC, we are working to postpone several of our spring events. If you are a current registrant, speaker, or sponsor, you will be hearing from us directly as soon as we have information. Otherwise, please reference each individual event for more information.

We understand the inconvenience that this situation has caused on our valued network of attendees and participants. We are working hard to mitigate the hardships, and we appreciate your patience with us during this time. We are looking forward to each rescheduled event and the rich time of networking and learning that each will provide.

March 9, 2020 update

Our events are not large tradeshows that number in the thousands, but smaller events with a hundred or so people, mostly all of whom are based in the United States. We want everyone to have a productive and healthy conference experience.

We are working with our venues to ensure that:

  • Housekeeping has increased disinfection across all high-traffic thoroughfares including, but not limited to, lavatories, elevators, escalators, entrances, exits, doorknobs, lecterns, microphones, light switches, trash receptacles, and water stations
  • Restaurants and all sleeping rooms will be tended to with extra disinfection
  • Additional hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the venue
  • Food preparation will be held to the highest standards of HAACP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)

IEN is also asking that sponsors and exhibitors routinely disinfect your booth areas, and that all attending follow regular CDC Guidelines to help prevent the spread of the virus.

We are endeavoring to keep our website updated and our attendees/participants informed about any changes to events. Feel free to contact [email protected] with any concerns you would like answered directly. We will respond as soon as we are able, due to being inundated with inquiries at this time.

A reminder of CDC recommended prevention best practices:

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when coughing or sneezing
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the restroom, before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing
  • Avoid touching your eyes, face and mouth with unwashed hands. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol

  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
